Kenzki

Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 6, 2026
The short version: Kenzki games keep as much as possible on your phone. We don't require an account, and we never ask for your name, email, or location. Some games — like Kenzki Backgammon — play against a computer opponent on our servers, so they send your current game and a random device ID (never anything that identifies you) so we can run and save that game. The only outside party that receives data is our advertising provider, Google AdMob, and only to show ads. You can limit or turn off ad personalization at any time (see below).

This policy explains how Kenzki ("we", "us") handles information across our mobile games. It applies to the apps we publish, including com.kenzki.sudoku (Kenzki Sudoku) and com.kenzki.backgammon (Kenzki Backgammon).

1. Information we collect

We do not collect personal information. Our games have no sign-in and no user accounts, and never ask for your name, email address, phone number, or location.

Most of what a game remembers stays only on your device, in the operating system's secure on-device storage: your progress and saved games, times and personal bests, achievements, and your settings and board customizations. This on-device information is never transmitted to us, and uninstalling the app removes it.

Games that play against a live computer opponent additionally send some gameplay data to our servers while you play — see the next section.

2. Games that connect to our servers

Some Kenzki games play against a computer opponent and save your in-progress game using our own servers (at api.kenzki.com). Kenzki Backgammon works this way. While you play one of these games, we receive:

The install ID is a random value. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or any other personal information — we never ask for those. As with any internet service, our servers also see your device's IP address in order to route the connection; we don't use it to identify you.

We store your game only so you can pick it back up later ("Continue"). It is temporary: it is removed when the game finishes, and games left unfinished are automatically deleted after a period of inactivity (about 30 days). There are no accounts, and we do not sell this data or share it with third parties.

Games that don't need a live opponent — for example, Kenzki Sudoku — run entirely on your device and send none of this.

3. Advertising

Our games are free and supported by ads served through Google AdMob. To deliver and measure ads, AdMob may collect and process certain information from your device, such as your advertising identifier, IP address, device type, and general app-usage signals. Depending on your settings and region, ads may be personalized (based on advertising data associated with your device) or non-personalized (based only on general, non-identifying context).

This data is collected and used by Google, not by us, and is governed by Google's policies:

You can control ad personalization in your device settings (see "Your choices" below). If we later offer a paid option to remove ads, purchasing it stops ads from being served.

4. Analytics and tracking

We do not use third-party analytics, crash-reporting, or behavioral-tracking SDKs in our games, and we do not build advertising or behavioral profiles about you. Our game servers keep basic operational logs (for example, error messages) to run and secure the service — not to profile you.

5. Data storage and security

On-device data is protected by your device's own security. For games that connect to our servers, data travels over an encrypted (HTTPS/TLS) connection and is stored only temporarily, as described in section 2. We hold no accounts and no personal profiles. Clearing an app's storage or uninstalling it permanently deletes the data kept on your device.

6. Children's privacy

Kenzki games are general-audience games and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through the ads shown in a game, please contact us and we will help direct the request appropriately.

7. Your choices and rights

8. Third-party links

Our games may link to external pages (for example, our website, an app store listing, or another Kenzki game). Those destinations have their own privacy practices, which we do not control.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our games evolve. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, noted in the app or store listing.
